Profound thoughts: lauren – i actually just haven’t made any updates because after *consults calendar* nearly two weeks of going out and doing stuff every day of the week, i have not left the house in 5 days. which means i really had nothing to talk about unless yall cared about the status of my farm.

i did passively clean out the 3rd garage this weekend. by that i mean i freecycled (that means you give stuff you would throw out away to other people to use for free) everything and had a bunch of people come to my house and haul it away for me. now we have space to store all the crap currently in our actual garage. still waiting on my cricut cartridge to be delivered so that i can get started on lucas’s bday invites.

i will at least have something to post thursday tho, because tomorrow kristie and i are going to a concert!!!

– lauren fixed my blog subscriber! apparently im retarded and where it listed “categories to exclude” i thought it was categories to include, so i had excluded everything from the email list.

– today we “cleaned out the garage” which means i got rid of two small items and that was pretty much it

– stuff i hafta buy: AC for eleanor erin, a new fridge, a DSLR camera, landscaping, house appraisal, and a new car…<sarcasm>yay</sarcasm>

– i was gonna type more random crap, but paul is going to bed now so im going to go read The Host (yes i just read it, but i am re-reading)

Places I went today: Lucas and I went to lunch in Marietta Sq with Steph, mom, and ron, then steph flew home to boston 😦

Something I did today: fell asleep on the futon as soon as i was home from lunch

What Lucas was up to: not much today…he walked around at lunch and ate a tiny bit of my pancake (like 1 bite)

Profound thoughts: im so behind on my scrapbooking. i need to have it all done by his 1st bday!  it really sucks that steph went back home today. i feel like she was barely here.

well im down to one cichlid. i think this one might have actually died of natural causes *gasp* since it was over 4 years old. ive been waiting for the last few to kick the bucket so i can redo the tank.i have a sick fascination with watching the frogs eat fish.

paul, lucas, and i ran errands at petsmart, michaels and the grocery store today. i’m putting lucas on the gerber diet…it’s like how jenny craig had those meal plans that were organized so that you ate healthy stuffs and hit up all the food groups each day. he has these little puff snacks that taste like applejacks or something and i sneak a couple whenever i feed them to him because they taste yummy.

when we were shopping we let lucas walk around instead of making him ride in the cart so he followed us around the stores. we also showed him the fish tanks at petsmart.

this post darn well better show up in people’s email addies now that i installed that app.

at laurens request (and because i agree with her) i am trying to find a way to make my blog email people when i post stuffs. then i started fiddling with themes so that i’ll have control over the sidebar widgets…so everything is temporarily a mess

Places I went today: Sarah and i went to Kennestone Hospital to get a fertility test done – she’s all clear, so she will start Clomid next month, then we went to ihop for pancakes! Afterward I picked up Steph and we went back home to go over Europe plans. The day ended with dinner at OCharleys w/ Paul, Lucas, Steph, Dad, Liz, and Grandmother Stone. I was so tired from my long day that I fell asleep on the couch as soon as I got home.

Something I did today: Dad lent me his Nikon camera to try out. I’m thinking about getting the same kind so I want to play around with it before I spend $500+ on one.

What Lucas was up to: He learned to walk while wearing shoes and kept walking all over OCharleys – he got fussy if we tried to have him sit in the chair – he wanted to GO.

Profound thoughts: 1. we hafta buy a new fridge 😦  2. im so excited that lauren is pregnant and sarah will be getting pregnant. i saw twin newborns, a boy and girl 5 days old, at Kennestone and they were sooo tiny!   3. what does it say about your family when you can ask at the dinner table “If an alien was trying to sneak out of the CDC, how easily do you think he could do it?”  and have them give you a serious answer

People I saw today: Stephanie!!(visiting home from boston) and dad

Places I went today: Cracker Barrel breakfast with the above + lucas, Kohls w/ steph

Something I did today: Steph and i went clothes shopping at Kohls so she could get jeans and i could get new spring tops. we also watched Chasing Liberty to get pumped up for our trip

What Lucas was up to: he came to breakfast with us and ate part of a biscuit and a tiny tiny bit of my eggs. during chasing liberty they go bungy(sp) jumping and the girl screams…lukcas started crying! i assume because of the scream because i dont see how he could understand the falling part

Profound thoughts: ive decided that syrup is made of electrons and my skin has the kinds of protons it likes because every time i eat something that involves syrup, it somehow gets all over me
