ugh i feel soooo shitty!!! i couldnt go to sleep until 4am last night cause i was so congested and sneezing constantly. plus i was sleeping on the futon cause i didnt want to get paul sick or keep him up with my sneezing. finally at 4 it dawned on me we had nyquil in the cabinet and i took some of that and went to sleep. i didnt wake up again until 2pm today. *luckily* today is my day off, but i had to cancel all my plans for today 😦 which i was really looking fwd to. i just hope im better before work tomorrow.

Sooo i havent posted in awhile so i figured id give it a go. i just added 5 more posts. i have a freakin cold which sucks ass. it wasnt too bad today, so hopefully itll be a light one. its the first time ive been sick since i got back from london which must be like a record for me or something. anyhow thats boring. so today i had a 12-7 shift at petsmart, but stacey, one of the fishy girls, decided she just wasnt going to show up for work anymore so i went over to specialty to help out bryan. i love working in specialty cause i get to do a lot of different tasks (ringing can be so mundane and tedious) throughout the night. anyhow so i got off at 930 instead and met up with danielle (one of the other cashiers) to go to Here (see other post about Here). i love that place cause its like a posh london nightclub instead of a redneck sports bar which is all we have around here (cept baileys tho which is decently cool). anyhow apparently the cops are trying to get the place shut down cause they dont want kennesaw to turn into a party town. last time i was at kennesaw (over a year ago now) the school was over half the size of UGA and growing so it freakin NEEDS a bloody night life!!! so danielle and i went over to Here to get dinner and hang out. theres a guy she knew from my space that DJs there and so we met him. he and his friend were pretty cool and so we decided wed go back next tuesday. im excited about going again cause next tues i wont be feelin all sick and crappy and ill be able to drink and not want to leave at only midnight. anyhow so we left at midnite and D was taking me back to my car at petsmart, and the closing shift was still there!! like i think the latest ive been there before was like maybe 1130, but they didnt get out of there until like 12:30. well part of that was all of us (danielle, bryan, vincent, tenecia) hanging out in the parking lot talking. so much for going to bed early to recover from my plague. hehehe i had fun tho. tomorrow im sposed to have lunch with steph btwn her classes from 12-3, then im either going to dinner with lauren for her birthday (if we both feel up to it) or dinner with bill and rene when renes off work. then i may or may not go to laurens for the usual weds night tv – totally depends on how i feel – i dont want to get anyone sick 😦 damn this cold ruining my week!! oh and PS — im babysitting devins kitten and its worse than annabelle.

yay i got to hang out with robert on friday 🙂 ive only seen him like once since i got back from london. i need to be better about calling people up and KIT and stuff. anyhow i took him to Here Cafe and Sauce which is like a posh london nightclub up in the old Uptons shoppings center behind outback. we had some drinks and a chat till about 1am. it was good to catch up with him. hes graduated now (congrats robert!) and looking for a job.

so this whole bird flu thing has me sorta freaked out. i heard like a million americans at least are gonna die from it. thats loads of people, which means people i know could die! hell it could be me. i mean us at petsmart are all exposed to birds. i dunno if they count or not since theyre not in the wild cause i dont really know much about the flu at all, but doesnt it seem like the world is coming to an end lately? paul and bill think its like some sorta League of Shadows conspiracy to weed out the population of morons that now reside in our country (ok so they didnt quite say it like that – but basically they consider it time to cleanse the stupid).

so after being all melancholy about the josh incident, on top of being tired, run down, and slightly anxious, i went to hang out with sal at taco mac. basically i whined to him the whole time about the josh thing and made him promise me we wouldnt stop being friends (which honestly i dont see happening cause sal and i could not talk for a decade and still pick up right where we left off being best of friends). i finally left sals at around midnight and on my way home i got pulled over by a cop!! it was the first time since ive had the camaro/ been back from london. luckily i didnt get a ticket. he just told me to be careful and let me go. i am soooo freakin lucky!! i guess im still charmed after all.

so josh came into petsmart today. its the third time ive seen him come in. the first two times he came in with gillian (his wife thats like beyond imagination controlling and literally wont let him talk to another female – zero exaggeration here) and only waved hi to me when her back was turned but other than that he didnt even acknowledge me. today since he was alone i got to talk to him, but he wasnt very talkative, which in a way is just his personality, but you would think that if you saw a old friend for the first time in three years youd act more excited to see them. instead of being all gushy about seeing me he was pretty quiet and just kinda like “hey whats up”. he acted like we were the kinda friends that you talk to in class but never see outside of school. it hurt my feelings cause i always thought of us as good friends back then, but maybe i wasnt as important/significant in his life as he was in mine.

i drove the motorcycle today!! it was really fun. all i did was learn to start it up and walk it fwd on slow speed (as in my feet were on the ground the whole time) but it was step one and that was awesome!!

Yesterday after work I went to the mall to the mall to buy new boots, as I had thrown my old ones out in London. I went to Nine West first, which is where I usually buy my shoes, but they had very little selection and the sales girl was gabbing so I left and went to Naturalizer. There I picked up exactly what I needed (I buy the same boots every year – black leather, side zip plain boots). well then I stopped by the shoe dept just to have a look, and found the cutest little slip on fur lined shoes! so i had to buy those too. and at the counter they were selling the softest sleep socks id ever felt so i grabbed a pair of those as well. there was a 3 for $15 deal, but i restrained myself and just got one (take that becky bloomwood!) altho now i rather wish i hadnt cause i could have given them as presents to people for christmas so i might go back. then i went to waldenbooks cause im all out of reading material. not sure what to buy, and not wanting to have to make a trip back in the near future, i bought 4 novels of various authors. when passing the salon i noticed they had my shampoo that my salon was out of stock of on my visit last week so i picked some of that up, too (altho it was $4 more than at my salon which is a ripoff but everything in the mall is more expensive). i went to victoria secret to get another bra, and i got $20 off of it by signing up for their credit card! that was exciting. lastly, as im trying to haul all my heavy-ass carrier bags across the mall, i stopped by a kiosk and got the cutest baby pink and silver cell phone cover for my new phone!! id totally been wanting one of those. now my phone looks really cute. all in all it was a great day!
