So there’s something that i’ve been wondering ever since the London bombings. While Ally and Kristie were in London i asked them what Londoners said about Americans. The general concensus was “Americans are stupid and Bush sucks” basically because of the war on terrorism and/or our presence in Iraq. Now that London has experienced the same type of horror we did……what are they saying? Have any of the responses changed? I was just curious since I have never ever been a fan of war, but after 9/11 i was really hoping we’d kick someone’s ass.

We had a soldier come in to the pharmacy today. He was on his way to set up a party for a squadron (?) of soldiers that are returning from Iraq tonight ^_^ We didn’t talk long but he had some very interesting views on the occupancy of Iraq. It just made me realize that while we’re here wondering “Why the hell are there still troops over there? Bring them home!” , they have to worry about the iraqi people. They need to make sure the government is secure and that the people are safe. What would happen if a civil war broke out? Or if the insurgents gained control? We’re not trying to control Iraq, we’re just trying to give them a little direction. Kinda like a parent to a kid. We’re older and have had more experience, and we’re just trying to pass it on.

tonight i went with paul to home depot. there was this dad with his 3 yr old girl in the shopping cart. she was wearing the same shirt as me. (well not the exact same shirt, but both of us had shirts with care bears on them).

soo sorry that my life isnt interesting enuf to be post worthy every day 😛 i had an annoying day today. i spent a bunch of money on a carwash and then it rained on my car. luckily since id had it waxed, it didnt really mess it up so it still looks good. then i stood in line for 35 mins at the tag office and they told me i was in the wrong county! so now i hafta go to the tag office in dallas and get it done there instead. i went by petsmart to get my paycheck and by chance discovered they had changed the schedule midweek and added me for a saturday shift. if i hadnt gone in for my paycheck i would have never known that they added the saturday shift and not shown up for work. it kinda annoys me that they changed the schedule w/o telling me. i was so busy running errands all day that i didnt have time to eat, so by 3pm i was grumpy. so i stopped by my moms school to see her and talked her into going to see The Island with me. id already seen it but wanted to go again. after the movie i met paul, rene, and bill at Frankies for dinner.

ohh i forgot to mention. this morning i woke up and my engagement ring was gone from my hand. i was sooo confused cause i had no memory of taking it off and i couldnt for the life of me figure out why it wasnt on my hand. i finally found it on the floor btwn the bed headboard and the wall. my guess is that while i was asleep my fingers swelled and it was bothering me so i pulled it off in my sleep without realising it.

last night i went to sals to help him move (again) out of his house. we were both kinda tired (we didnt get started until 8pm) and didnt feel like doing it. i kept sitting down on the chair and watching tv. i think i was kinda a pain about the whole thing, but we eventually made a dent in the task. hes having a hard time lately, and now hes homeless for a week until he gets a new place.

I’m now the mommy to eleven baby guppies (fry). I ordered some fancy guppies off ebay cause they were a pretty blue color, and when they arrived, it turned out they were teeny babies! hopefully i can get at least a couple to live, but aquarium keeping is so hard (esp when you have well water instead of reg water), so i dunno how this will turn out. i expected to wake up this morning and them all be dead, but so far so good. theyre going to take a ton of work tho!

No ive never liked cake icing much, youre thinking of yourself 😛 i only like it in a very thin layer on the cake, anything extra i knock off. i do like the stuff that comes in a can tho for when you bake your own cakes – that stuff ill eat straight up.

yes i finished the sidney sheldon book – i just thought it was ok. the second half of the book seemed like oceans 11/12 where she just went on capers over and over and every few pages she was stealing something new, so it seemed like the book just kinda jumped from story to story and didnt put enough into any one story.

yeah im going to buy the next Janet Evanovich book at some point cause i liked the first one. def not gonna ever get anything from the library again, its way too expensive. there are a lot of guys that i would pick to be real before joseph morelli, nice ass or not, cause he can be a real jerk half the time.

umm yeah so i set up one of those myspace profiles cause for some reason i join every one of these retarded networking sites (see previous post babble about such sites). i dunno how much ill use it….meaning ill use it a bunch for a couple of weeks and forget it ever exists like i always do. whatever.

so petsmart rocks. of course it means i hafta get more pets. im working on setting up an aquarium. right now its just a ten gallon one cause i dont have a penny to my name to get a pretty one. they have some damn nice ones at petsmart that are 75 gallons.

This past saturday we went to a party at matt and amandas house. it was a lot of fun even tho i wasnt drinking. even when youre not drinking you can always make fun of the drunk ones. we were there for like 7 hours. they did karaoke and matt gave his performance of Godmack’s VooDoo for us (by request from rene and me). matt has this video arcade stand thingy that he built and it has like a billion old arcade games on it, including dark stalkers!! i used to love that game when i was a kid. i didnt know how to play it tho so i just mashed the buttons a bunch and hoped for the best.

Ya know I wonder what would happen if a search engine really actually searched the entire web and pulled up all this shit youve ever posted online. I was doing some click-thrus and stumbled across…myself!! how weird is it to find a link on someones webpage to your own website, but one you dont ever remember having!!! yeah so apparently i briefly signed up for an account for a live journal back when i started this whole blogging thing and was trying to find a decent media to do it with. it only has 3 entries and are from back when i was still in school, so over a year ago now, but it was way weird cause i didnt ever remember actually signing up for it. mustve not used it for more than like a day. anyhows it just makes me think of all those community things ive joined over time like tribe, wayne, my space, xanga, and countless others i cant even remember anymore. its like im floating out there in the world all over the place. huh.
