Places I went today: Sarah and i went to Kennestone Hospital to get a fertility test done – she’s all clear, so she will start Clomid next month, then we went to ihop for pancakes! Afterward I picked up Steph and we went back home to go over Europe plans. The day ended with dinner at OCharleys w/ Paul, Lucas, Steph, Dad, Liz, and Grandmother Stone. I was so tired from my long day that I fell asleep on the couch as soon as I got home.
Something I did today: Dad lent me his Nikon camera to try out. I’m thinking about getting the same kind so I want to play around with it before I spend $500+ on one.
What Lucas was up to: He learned to walk while wearing shoes and kept walking all over OCharleys – he got fussy if we tried to have him sit in the chair – he wanted to GO.
Profound thoughts: 1. we hafta buy a new fridge 😦 2. im so excited that lauren is pregnant and sarah will be getting pregnant. i saw twin newborns, a boy and girl 5 days old, at Kennestone and they were sooo tiny!  3. what does it say about your family when you can ask at the dinner table “If an alien was trying to sneak out of the CDC, how easily do you think he could do it?” and have them give you a serious answer
note: this is an old dream i found in the drafts folder…i have no idea what the date was that i dreamt it…pretty creepy
This morning i had a dream that i was a single mom to a 10 year old daughter, and i shared a townhouse with two other single moms and their daughters. all our daughters were in gymnastics together. then one day the police come to say that one of the other mothers from gymnastics’ daughter had been murdered and he was trying to find out if we knew anything (not suspects, just gathering info). after the cops leave we are getting our daughters ready for bed and i asked my daughter if she knew anyone that might do that. she turned all evil and her eyes went grey and black she gripped my arms and said in a totally different voice “i killed her”. she told me she killed her because she was competition in the gymnastics. then she told me she killed the handy man too cause he was rude to her and walled him into the stairs we’d been renovating in the house. basically anyone that made her mad she just killed and thought nothing of it. i was terrified of making her mad so i just acted like it was no big deal and put her to bed. then i was trying to coordinate with the cops a way for them to take her without her suspecting anything.
People I saw today: Stephanie!!(visiting home from boston) and dad
Places I went today: Cracker Barrel breakfast with the above + lucas, Kohls w/ steph
Something I did today: Steph and i went clothes shopping at Kohls so she could get jeans and i could get new spring tops. we also watched Chasing Liberty to get pumped up for our trip
What Lucas was up to: he came to breakfast with us and ate part of a biscuit and a tiny tiny bit of my eggs. during chasing liberty they go bungy(sp) jumping and the girl screams…lukcas started crying! i assume because of the scream because i dont see how he could understand the falling part
Profound thoughts: ive decided that syrup is made of electrons and my skin has the kinds of protons it likes because every time i eat something that involves syrup, it somehow gets all over me
in an effort to encourage myself to post more frequently, i have copied lauren/jenny’s way of doing a formatted update thingy. typically my problem is having lots to say and therefor procrastinating typing it out. so i will use my form posts to encourage myself to do more, little blog posts. for copy/paste purposes, here is the blank form.

omg…it took me 4 minutes to open walmart.com’s index site…i’m at ten minutes total now in my quest to find out their easter hours. ya know how the tv people switched to digital and forced everyone to change over their tvs? i think the companies should force people to switch to dsl rather than dialup. /facepalm…duh it doesn’t even list special holiday hours online. oh well i guess ill find out when i show up there tomorrow. i have a headache from taking a bad nap. ya know…the kind where you wake up feeling worse than before it. i put lucas to ped at 815pm…an hour past his usual bedtime but we wanted him to be super sleepy and go right to sleep since he is in a strange place and got upset when i tried to put him to bed at 645. well i lied down on the bed while i waited on him to get settled in the packnplay and drink his bottle…and fell asleep. i woke at 10 when he randomly woke up and started crying for no reason that i could find…nightmare? as soon as i picked him up he calmed down, so i brought him into bed with me and he fell right back asleep in my arms like he used to do when he was a newborn. i held him for an hour before shifting him back to the crib. so now im up, with a headache and nothing to do but try to do stuff on this wannabe internet. i cant even get any chat programs to sign on. nor can i play farmville because i guess she doesnt have java and it’s not like you can DL anything to add or update programs ever. meh. im a grumblety grump. *drums fingers on desk* hmm what to do now. i could start a new book i brought with me, but it is a new author/series so i’m not jumping to start it. plus my head hurts a lot so i probably couldnt read anyhow. i should go downstairs and eat a bunch of brownies. the chocolate kind..not the elves.
