My Life

 

Well I survuved the surgery. it was a lot more painful/bigger deal than i was expecting going in, but im over it now and it has made a world of difference. i really really regret not getting it done years ago.

 On wed. i started a cake decorating class with steph and my mom. it was stephs idea and i thought it sounded cool so i joined, too. it was pretty fun and i cant wait to get into the actual decorating parts next week.

then thurs i started puppy classes for abby. mom and i are taking them together at petsmart. its so funny to have big ol jumpy abby i have to put effort into controlling and holding still, while little Soucci just lays in mom’s lap the whole time.

Today im going to the drivers license place to see about getting my name changed. im really excited about it 😀

nervous yet?

people keep asking if im nervouse yet. it hit tonight. a full blown anxiety attack when i tried to go to bed at 1am ( i will point out that it is now 4am). suddenly i was freaking out about what i might have missed or be forgetting htat i hvent taken care of yet. most of my grande The Knot list has been completed and i just have a few things left to do, but im soo worried about what might not be on the list that i forgot or am missing or wont htink of until the day of or the day after. so, i did what any irrational, OCD list making girl does – i got back up and got back online and finished a ton of the other stuff i had left on my to do list (minus the stuff that required shopping). i created lists galore to prepare me for the day of (a timeline for everyone, list of duties for everyone, my beauty routine in the morning, everything i need to take to the site, everything i plan on putting on the day of, etc). i started emailing my vendors all my last minute questions and reading articles on the knot and sampling ceremony music on itunes.

now if people would just RSVP i could finish everything else!!!

Vision

Last night i dreamed that i went down to reserve vision. i went with a bunch of people. turns out htere was only one booth left to reserve and they decided htey wanted to think about it. then we are standing outside vision and kristie and lauren say they arent going to go at all. i got really mad at them and stormed off saying “fine, lets just cancel the whole thing” (i think this should be my new mantra). then after i calmed down i went back to tell the guy to just go ahead and reserve the booth, but there was a line at the door and i ended up standing behind sarah and raechel. they seemed to be planning something or other cause they kept whispering. then once i got thru the line up to the guy, he said that last booth had already been booked.

why does this dream not feel like a dream ?

London for a Day

I had a dream last night that Kristie and I went to London again, but just for a day (apparently in dream land it only takes 4 hours to get there and doesnt cost a billion dollars). we didnt think anyone would believe us, so we took pix under Big Ben and stuff. we mostly just walked around the city seeing the sights and then we went home. then we had fun telling everyone “we went to london today”.

My Shower

I just want to thank all of you for the fabulous shower you threw for me today. I had *such* a great time and Im so glad you all came and I **loved** all of my presents. It was so wonderful of yall to go to all that work and do that for me and I love every one of you.
