today lucas smiled at me 😀
hes been smiling for several weeks, but today was the first time he was smiling cause he was reacting to me.
it started off that he would smile a little half smile in his sleep when he was content. that was as early as one week old. then around 5 weeks old he would smile when we were holding him after his bottle and hed been looking at us and hed crack into a grin. but these smiles were all on his own. today i had him on the changing table and i grinned at him and said “hi baby!” and he smiled back at me in response to me smiling at him and not just cause he was grinning at his own inner thoughts.

Oh i forgot to mention i have no problem giving him back when he’s a teenager. So it can just be temporary.
