How your baby’s growing: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby’s hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his “tail” is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. your baby — about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can’t feel it.
yesterday i took the pills and slept all day. today i avoided the pills, and felt nauseous all day
had a fun mood swing tonight where i almost started crying over the most minor of things
foods: the potato salad incident, and i have a new found addiction to eating pb and jelly sandwiches all day long bcuz everythign else just seems gross
It’s 1am. I’m lying bed slowly suffocating. Because the power has been out since 6 pm! I, luckily, was at Laurens all night. Poor Paul. No lights for reading, no tv, no net. I wish I’d known before I drove all the way home so I could have slept at moms or something. So yeah trying to go to sleep with nothing but an open window. No AC or fans 😦 plus it is so quiet w/o my box fan that I can hear Ashton meowing in the cat room downstairs. At least I’m so tired I’ll hopefully pass out soon anyway. G’nite.
2am. Saw what was prob two power trucks go by about 15 mins ago but still no power. It is ridiculous how loud crickets and frogs are. There is a rapid drip drip drip from the gutter onto the front porch. Ashton is jumping against the glass door & annabelle is yelling at him. I’m down on the couch now where it s cooler but less comfy. Not that it seems to matter.
How your baby’s growing: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry. Your uterus has doubled in size in the past five weeks, and eating may feel like a chore — or worse — thanks to morning sickness. About half of the women who feel nauseated during the first trimester will find complete relief by about 14 weeks. For most of the rest, it’ll take another month or so for the queasiness to ease up.
well the nausea hit this week like the article says. i haven’t thrown up yet, but i was really nauseous all day for several days. yesterday i wasn’t even able to take a nap since i felt sick, so i called the doctor and got a prescription for anti-nausea meds, and those have been helping. i’m afraid of throwing up, because im scared that once i start, i won’t stop.
i forgot the other stuff i was gonna say about last night. so the hormones hit as well last night. as i was lying in bed trying to fall asleep, i was feeling anxious, and tired, and nauseous, and my thoughts were bouncing around like a pinball machine, and next thing ya know, i’m crying over something that happened in elementary school!
i just had a crappy night’s (lack of) sleep. first i couldn’t fall asleep until like 245am because i felt nauseous. then i woke up at 5 feeling super nauseous. i slept sitting up in bed on and off for a bit before i finally drug myself out of bed and went downstairs for some bread. the bread helped some, and after a bit i finally was able to go back to sleep, but it was really touch and go there for a bit about if i was going to have to throw up. i kept reminding myself that unlike most other causes for being sick and throwing up, getting it out doesnt make u feel any better – i guess since u cant throw up the baby.
Just got my first ultrasound for the baby. Heart rate was 126 which she said was good. Looks like a big fuzzy blob. Baby board said it is about the size of a blueberry. Waiting to see dr Webb now and find out how far along I am and my EDD.

So i’ve been researching the BoA short sale process, and I can’t decide if it is good news or bad. one article was making it sound like working with BoA is a pain. “Bank of America is one of the most difficult lenders to deal with in regards to negotiating short sales.” I did find another post tho from March that said they had updated parts of their software to make things flow more smoothly, so I guess it depends on how great of a job the new software updates do. if you really care to read it all….
long but informative blog read about the whole process

How your baby’s growing:
This week’s major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that you’ll spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If you could see into your uterus, you’d find an oversize head and dark spots where your baby’s eyes and nostrils are starting to form. His emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his arms and legs by protruding buds. His heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to course through his body…Right now, your baby is a quarter of an inch long, about the size of a lentil.

Current symptoms: still the smells (which the bad ones make me pause a moment because they make me feel slightly sick), still sleeping non-stop. yesterday i was a little moody but today im fine. other than that i don’t think i really have any symptoms so far.

edit: im having the slightest bit of nausea now when i have an empty stomach

Went to see Dr Webb yesterday. It was a really quick (semi-pointless appointment) because all they did is give me a pregnancy test and check me. Both the nurse and Dr Webb made the comment about how I’m “definitely pregnant” because the little + showed up super fast on their test the way it had mine. I’m scheduled to see the baby Mon the 27th.
